
These two cities are located only 12 km from each other but as you will see later on, they are very different and that is because they are separated by the Russian-Chinese border. (42 Pictures)
Zabaikalsk: A city-like town located on the south-eastern side of Russia. Established in 1904 as a railroad crossing of the Western Chinese Railroad. Population 10.8k people (2008)
Manzhouli: A city in the south-west of China, in the eastern part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region near Lake Dalaynor. Chinese railway border crossing point opposing Zabaikalsk.
